Brief

Raiinmaker pivoted from a Web3 social earning platform to an AI video data marketplace, repositioning for enterprise AI clients while retaining a contributor network of 300K+ users across 190 countries. As the sole designer working directly with the founding team, I led the product and brand redesign: designing four new earning mechanics from the ground up, integrating the Raiinmaker app with their blockchain web portal Coiin.ai, and shaping the visual direction of a platform that needed to speak to two very different audiences, everyday contributors and enterprise AI buyers.

Contribution

1. Video Data Submission: a new quest format where users filmed, uploaded, and tracked multiple video submissions per quest, with AI verification built into the flow

2. Peer Validation System: an interface where users review and evaluated other contributors' submissions, requiring clear pass/fail UX and trust signals

3. Validator Node: a background process users could run to validate blockchain activity, a key component in bridging the app to Coiin.ai

4. Enterprise AI Data Marketplace: a full dashboard where AI companies could configure and launch video data quests, set parameters like duration, resolution, submission limits, location, and total budget, and monitor performance

Results

The repositioned brand and product experience helped the founding team open conversations with enterprise AI clients, supporting the company's move at a critical moment in the AI data industry. The integration between the Raiinmaker app and Coiin.ai created a unified experience across the product ecosystem for the first time, successfully carrying Raiinmaker's contributor base through a significant product shift, retaining and growing an active network of 300K+ users across 190 countries. The introduction of four distinct earning mechanics, video submission, peer validation, node validation, and data validation, gave contributors more ways to engage, increasing platform activity and time spent in app.
